Ignacio Pinazo Camarlench and Teresa Martínez Monfort acquire the house in Godella, restore it and build the painter’s studio in the courtyard. Construction begins in January 1888 and is completed in September 1889.

Ignacio Pinazo Camarlench dies at the house in Godella. Three years later, dies his wife Teresa Martínez Monfort.

Ignacio Pinazo Martínez, on behalf of the heirs, donated five paintings and 16 drawings by Ignacio Pinazo Camarlench to the Círculo de Bellas Artes de Valencia. As a condition of the donation, these works now belong to the Real Academia de Bellas Artes de San Carlos for the Museo de València.

Manuel González Martí publishes the first biography of the painter: Pinazo. His life and work, 1849-1916.

First will of Ignacio Pinazo Martínez, in which the bequest of the house to the people of Godella is stipulated for the creation of “a cultural institution, school of arts or crafts, artisans or similar, and in the absence of these, primary education schools, which shall always bear the name Pinazo Camarlench.”

Esperanza Pinazo Martínez, is born in Godella, daughter of the sculptor Ignacio Pinazo and Esperanza Martínez Alfaro.

Ignacio Pinazo Martínez, on his own behalf and on behalf of his brother, donates 29 paintings and 108 drawings by Ignacio Pinazo Camarlench to the Real Academia de Bellas Artes de San Carlos for the Museo de València.

Following the appropriate division of the inheritance of the painter Pinazo Camarlench, the house in Godella is awarded to his son Ignacio Pinazo Martínez.

Following the celebration in 1956 of the Commemorative Exhibition of the Centenary of the National Exhibitions, the State acquires eleven oil paintings by Ignacio Pinazo Camarlench for the Museo de Arte Moderno, today part of the Museo Nacional del Prado.

With the active involvement of Ignacio Pinazo Martínez, a sculpture gallery is installed at the Museo de Bellas Artes de València.

Manuel González Martí thanks Ignacio Pinazo Martínez for the donation of several works by the three artists for the Pinazo gallery at the Museo Nacional de Cerámica  y Artes Decorativas, inaugurated in 1971.

Esperanza Pinazo Martínez and her husband, Eugenio Casar Estellés, aware of the importance of the Pinazo legacy, establish the Casa Museo Pinazo as a family institution, thus fulfilling the wishes expressed by Ignacio Pinazo Martínez in his first will of 1924. Ricardo García de Vargas, a friend of Pinazo Martínez since the 1930s and his testamentary executor, is appointed director.

Following the death of Eugenio Casar Estellés in 1978 and of Ricardo García de Vargas in 1979, Esperanza Pinazo Martínez takes over the direction of the Casa Museo Pinazo.

On the occasion of the anthological exhibition I. Pinazo promoted by the General Directorate of Fine Arts of the Ministry of Culture, in Madrid and Valencia, Asun Tena Arregui begins the restoration of the works of Ignacio Pinazo Camarlench.

Esperanza Pinazo Martínez and Asun Tena Arregui, at the request of Vicente Aguilera Cerni, begin the transcription of the writings of Ignacio Pinazo Camarlench, for the publication of the monograph I. Pinazo (Vicent García Editores).

Spanish National Television (RTVE) films at the Casa Museo Pinazo Procesión del Corpus (Corpus Christi Procession) for the program Mirar un cuadro (Looking at a Painting), which airs in August.

The enactment of the Spanish Historical Heritage Law and its implementing decree prompted a comprehensive inventory of the works of Ignacio Pinazo Camarlench held in the family collections; all of which were incorporated into the second section of the Spanish Historical Heritage.

The creation of the Institut Valencià d’Art Modern (IVAM), conceived by Tomás Llorens i Serra, saw the incorporation of a Pinazo Gallery into the IVAM, using works acquired—through purchase and donation—from the Casa Museo Pinazo. The institution recognizes the fundamental role of Ignacio Pinazo Camarlench in establishing the artistic values ​​that underpinned the transition to modern painting. A comprehensive program for the cataloguing and dissemination of the painter’s work is developed, supported by thematic exhibitions accompanied by publications and studies on his work.

Exhibition Los Pinazo. Cien años de expresión artística (The Pinazo Family: One Hundred Years of Artistic Expression), promoted by the Port Authority of Valencia. Its preparation marks the beginning of the cataloguing of the works of the children of Pinazo Camarlench.

At the initiative of Esperanza Pinazo, Mónica Pintado Antúnez begins the process of restoring the graphic work of Ignacio Pinazo Martínez.

José Ignacio Casar Pinazo takes over as director of the Casa Museo Pinazo.

The IVAM publishes Ignacio Pinazo en la Colección del IVAM (Ignacio Pinazo in the IVAM Collection), a catalogue raisonné of the works by Pinazo Camarlench held in the institution’s collection.

Various exhibitions curated by Francisco Javier Pérez Rojas in Madrid, Granada, Valencia and Tudela (Navarra). Together they constitute a comprehensive overview of the artistic output of Ignacio Pinazo Camarlench.

Esperanza Pinazo Martínez passes away.

Considering the artistic works to be adequately controlled and preserved, the decision is made to undertake the identification, classification, installation and cataloguing of the documentary collection according to the project developed by Blanca Tena Arregui.

Promoted by IVAM and the Museo Hendrik Christian Andersen, the first international monographic exhibition, curated by Francisco Javier Pérez Rojas, is held in Rome.

The IVAM and the University of Valencia have agreed to create the I. Pinazo Chair. Its objective is to carry out training activities, exhibitions, and publications that contribute to the development and dissemination of the work of the artist Ignacio Pinazo and the origins of modern art in Valencia and Spain. It will be in effect until 2016.

Commemoration by the Godella Town Council of the centenary of the award of the Medal of Honour to Ignacio Pinazo Camarlench at the National Exhibition of Fine Arts of 1912. Exhibition curated by Eva Teixidor Aranegui.

The Taller d’Història Local de Godella produces and publishes a Educational Unit to introduce the figure of the painter to the students of Godella.

The Casa Museo Pinazo reaches an agreement with the Faculty of Engineering of the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM) for the organization of the exhibition Ignacio Pinazo. The exhibition is held at the Palacio de la Minería in Mexico City, curated by Francisco Javier Pérez Rojas. The exhibition then travels to the Museo de Arte Moderno in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.

The Godella Town Council promotes the exhibition La línea maestra – Dibujos Pinazo/Alfaro (The Master Line – Pinazo/Alfaro Drawings), curated by Artur Heras.

Commemoration of the centenary of the death of Ignacio Pinazo Camarlench. Under the general coordination of Carlos González Triviño, the scientific and artistic curatorship of Francisco Javier Pérez Rojas, and communications managed by Vicent Molins, the Casa Museo Pinazo leads the commemoration, which takes place in València and Godella. The full plenary of the Consell de la Generalitat Valenciana, at its meeting held on 22 January 2016, fulfils the resolution of the plenary of the Corts Valencianes dated 29 October 2015, which unanimously called for the official declaration of 2016 as the year of the painter Ignacio Pinazo Camarlench. Several scientific and social objectives are set. Six simultaneous exhibitions are held in València and a series of receptions are organized at the Casa Museo to showcase the unique character of the house and its collection. The Vespre del Centenari (Centenary Evening) is held at the Museum of Fine Arts, the Valencia City Council makes a floral offering at the Pinazo monument, and lecture series are held at the Fundación Cañada Blanch, the Club de Encuentro Manuel Broseta and the Real Asociación de Amigos del País, with the sponsorship of Caixa Popular and the Ateneo Mercantil, as well as various concerts and recitals, both in València and Godella. The Taller d’Història Local de Godella develops a unique series of activities to connect the commemoration to the people of Godella.
Memòria Any Pinazo 2016 (Memory of the Pinazo Year 2016)

The documentary Ignacio Pinazo: Notes i Pensaments (Ignacio Pinazo: Notes and Thoughts) (Estrela Producciones SL) is presented. Directed by Ignacio Estrela, it features a script by Laura Grande and Ignacio Estrela with music by Josué Vergara.

The Casa Museo Pinazo is institutionalised with the establishment of the Casa Museo Pinazo, Fundación de la Comunitat Valenciana.
